SUMMER STAFF
Faith
Mt. Cross is a safe place for campers to explore and learn about their faith. Campers participate in daily large group worship services and small group bible studies. Our curriculum is based on the theology of the ELCA. Campers of all faith traditions or no religious affiliation are welcome.
Staff
Campers are cared for by our dedicated and passionate staff who are excited to spend their summer having fun with and learning alongside kids. Each staff member provides two references, completes a background check, and attends two weeks of pre-summer training including first aid and CPR/AED certifications.
Activities
There is always something fun happening at Mt. Cross! Camper villages get to choose their own adventure by planning what activities they want to do each day. Some of the options include: Swimming, climbing wall, low ropes, archery, hiking, crafts, sports, and more.
Food
We keep campers well fed with three healthy meals a day. The menu is created with kids in mind including meals like grilled cheese and soup, chicken burritos, spaghetti, and pancakes. Our kitchen is nut-free and can accommodate all dietary restrictions including allergies and gluten-free.
