Volunteer Camp Nurse

Are you an RN, LPN, or other medical professional? Do you have a heart for service? Do you love camp? Mt. Cross is looking for volunteers who would like to spend a week (or even the whole summer) serving campers (age 8-17) and the Mt. Cross staff medical needs.
Responsibilities include:

partnering with the Mt. Cross Health Care Manager,
-
checking in/out camper medication on the first and last day of camp,
-
dispensing medication throughout the week,
-
monitoring campers health and well-being; as well as
-
plugging into the Mt. Cross community (as desired).
Arrive by noon on Sunday (you may arrive Saturday evening) and depart in theafternoon on Friday.

*Special Friends is Mt. Cross's camp for adults with developmental disabilities who often have higher medical needs. Experience preferred in dealing with Special Friends campers.
