The Campership Discount Fund

In 2010, Mt. Cross literally "gave away" camp due to the economic situation in Northern California. As much as we wish we could do that in 2012, the campership fund has returned to its normal status. Still, it is our hope that through a Mt Cross residential camp experience, kids will make friends, form their growing faith in Jesus Christ and have an absolute blast while doing it.

What is a Campership Discount?
Campership discounts help pay for up to 50% of your registration costs for one week (multiple weeks are not discounted). It doesn't matter if this is your first time to camp or your 10th. It doesn't matter if you are in 3rd grade or 12th grade.

To request a campership, register for a Mt. Cross program (including your $100 deposit), fill out the Campership Discount Request form and send it back. After we process the paperwork, the campership will be credited to your account. So, start by downloading the application. Applications not completed fully will not be processed.

Other Things You Can Do to Get to Camp

Come early: Check it out. If you come to an Odyssey week of camp early in the summer, the fee is $300. This is a discount from the normal $365 for a week of camp.

Register Early: Register before April 1, 2012 and get an early bird discount.

Bring a New Camper Discount: Past campers can bring new campers who have never been to Mt. Cross before and receive a $25 discount per new camper.

Multiple Child Discount: The 1st child from a family attending a 5-day camp session pays the full price. After that, receive a $25 discount for each additional child from the immediate family attending a 5-day session or a $10 discount for a 2-day session. All registrations and deposits must accompany 1st child's registration and deposit.

Save Your Allowance: If you save $2 per week for 1/2 year you will have $52 saved for Summer Camp or for Trading Post items.

Do Odd-Jobs: Some kids can do small jobs for neighbors or family friends and receive $5-20 per job. Do this 10 times and you might have $50-$200 saved for camp.

Campership Discount Application: It is normal for families to request up to 50% of the total cost of a “normal” week of camp. This means a week of camp could be as low as $150 at 50%. Need more choices? Then give us a call.
