What is the Big Tree Club?
The Big Tree Club encourages regular monthly giving on a consistent, planned, and larger level. The Big Tree Club is an informal association of people who provide leadership through their financial support. Member gifts, as part of the annual fund, are used to help keep fees reasonable, to give financial aid to children and families who cannot afford to pay the camp or retreat fees, to provide capital equipment and repairs, and to launch new programs.

How Do I Join?
Membership in the Big Tree Club begins with an annual gift of at least $300 over the course of a calendar year. There are also other memberships levels of $500 and $1,000 or more for those wishing and able to provide greater support. You may honor a friend or loved one with an honorary membership in the Big Tree Club. Simply complete the form on the back of this newsletter and drop in the mail. Perfect for this opportunity is the “Simply Giving Program” offered by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. “Simply Giving” allows for convenient electronic transfer of funds from your already existing bank account.

Why Join?
Members of the Big Tree Club receive a special memento of membership, receive the Big Tree Club newsletter, are listed in the Club’s honor roll, and are invited to participate in an annual get-together for members. Above all, as a Big Tree member you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping continue a ministry of spiritual renewal for people of all ages. Currently, over 40% of the Mt Cross yearly budget comes from gifts and donations. Your support is extremely important.
